SAINT-GOBAIN HAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF ITS TILES DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS IN THE NORDICS

Saint-Gobain signed an agreement with Ecco Group – a venture capital and private equity firm – for the sale of its Tiles Distribution business in the Nordics on May 22, 2026.

With sales of around €100 million in 2025, 270 employees and 32 outlets, the Tiles Distribution business is a leading tile and bathroom furniture distribution specialist in the Nordics, operating in two countries with Konradssons Kakel AB and Kakelspecialisten AB in Sweden and Flisekompaniet AS in Norway.

The disposal process should be finalized by the end of July 2026, after the completion of the information and consultation procedure with the relevant employee representative bodies.

This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain’s strategy to optimize its business profile, in line with its “Lead & Grow” plan.
