NAEGELI Deposition & Trial Completes Reconstruction of Seattle Office

Seattle, Washington, USA, June 10th, 2026, FinanceWire

NAEGELI Deposition & Trial has finished the ground-up reconstruction of its Seattle office at 1201 3rd Avenue, which the firm has occupied since 2023. With the new entranceway installed earlier this year, the build is complete.

The address is new. The work is not. For twenty-three years, NAEGELI took depositions out of 2 Union Square, a few blocks from the new space. The rebuild closes that chapter and opens another in the same downtown core. This time, every square foot was mapped out around the firm’s specific workflow.

Inside NAEGELI’s Premium Seattle Deposition Suites

Most legal offices treat deposition space as overflow. A spare conference room. A retrofit. NAEGELI went the other direction. The firm gutted its new floor and laid it out around the rhythm of a deposition day, with rooms sized to different party counts and breakout areas where attorneys can take a call or work through exhibits without leaving the building.

That meant attention to the parts most clients never notice until something goes wrong. Soundproofing between adjacent rooms. Sightlines for video recording. High-speed data and integrated power at every seat. Those details may not photograph well, but they are the difference between an environment supporting your case or becoming a distraction that stalls the day’s momentum.

As Director of NAEGELI’s Seattle Operations, Jennifer Kallmeyer oversaw the project’s daily evolution, ensuring the physical space met the rigorous demands of the local legal community. “We didn’t just want a fresh coat of paint, we wanted an inviting space for our attorneys and team that anticipates the logistical hurdles of a ten-hour day,” said Kallmeyer.
While Kallmeyer oversaw the project’s daily progress, Chief of Staff Sarah Coleman ensured the build-out aligned with the gold standard hallmarks that define NAEGELI’s nationwide operations. “The goal was to translate the NAEGELI signature experience into a layout that feels uniquely Seattle,” Coleman explains. “By tying this build-out to our broader operational goals, we’ve created a regional anchor that provides the same high-level support and sophisticated atmosphere our clients expect from us across the country.”

How Does the Office Handle Visiting Attorneys

Visiting counsel rarely choose where they take testimony. They show up where the case takes them, sometimes after a long flight, often with little warning. The remodel was planned with that in mind.

Three private offices with views of Elliott Bay and the downtown skyline are reserved for attorneys who need a quiet base between sessions. The kitchen, set up for sit-down use rather than grab-and-go, prepares premium coffee and tea throughout proceedings. Just inside the main doors sits a small lounge area, the team calls the Cigar Lounge, a buffer zone between the corridor and the working floor.

The flagship Bouguereau Conference Room seats nine, offering a commanding backdrop of Puget Sound and the skyline. Down the hall, the American History Room provides a more concentrated setting for six, designed specifically for mid-sized proceedings and focused testimony. Handling overflow is a flexible breakout room, when the caseload calls for a second active deposition or private counsel prep.

A separate production room takes the copying, scanning, and high-volume reproduction work off the main floor and away from anyone giving testimony.

Roots at Union Square

Twenty-three years is a long run in any downtown lease. NAEGELI’s stretch at 2 Union Square covered meaningful change in how depositions are conducted, including the rise of video recording and the shift toward remote testimony. The new office was framed internally as a continuation, not a departure. Pieces of the old space made the move.

The new front doors, the last item on the punch list, mark the practical end of the renovation. They also give arriving counsel a more defined point of arrival, with the public corridor on one side and the working office on the other.

What Comes Next for the Seattle Hub

With the rebuild done, the firm turns its focus back to the day-to-day work the office was built for. NAEGELI Deposition & Trial offers court reporting, legal videography, transcription, and trial support across the Pacific Northwest, with the new Seattle space strengthening the firm’s long-standing presence in the region.

The NAEGELI Seattle location page documents the firm’s Seattle operations in detail. Broader background lives on the main NAEGELI Deposition & Trial site, where a profile of founder Marsha J. Naegeli is presented alongside the central mission and operational philosophy that drives the firm’s nationwide reach.
