MiFactro Brings AI Agents to the Factory Floor Across MENA

Cairo, Egypt, September 9th, 2026, FinanceWire

MiFactro, a manufacturing technology company, today launched an AI agent that gives factory owners plain-language answers about what is happening on their production floor right now, whether an order is running late, what overtime is costing, or how much material is going to waste, as part of its expansion across MENA.

A Year Spent Understanding the Problem

Before writing any code, the team behind MiFactro spent more than a year researching the problems facing factories in Egypt, meeting with factory owners, production managers, and floor workers to understand where their existing tools and processes were failing them. That research shaped the product. Instead of building another generic ERP module, the team designed MiFactro around the specific, recurring problems factories described: losing track of orders as they moved between stations, and not knowing where labor and material costs were going. MiFactro was built to turn that research into a working product now being rolled out to manufacturers across the region.

An AI Agent for the Factory Floor

At the center of the launch is MiFactro's AI agent, which lets factory managers ask questions in everyday language, in Arabic or English, about order status, profitability, delays, and material stock, and get answers pulled directly from their own live production data. Each factory agent draws only on that factory's own operational data, so answers reflect what is happening on that specific floor and not generic industry benchmarks. The agent runs on MiFactro's broader tracking system, which follows every order through each station on the factory floor, calculates labor hours and overtime automatically, and flags material waste against pre-set consumption standards on a live cost dashboard. For factories running SAP S/4HANA, MiFactro is developing an integration to sync sales orders directly onto the production line, starting with one factory.

A Different Approach to Factory Software

MiFactro is built around the practical realities of the factory floor: multiple production stations, mixed manual and semi-automated workflows, and teams who need answers without technical training. Workers log progress with a few taps on a simple touchscreen at each station, while managers see a live dashboard of costs, delays, and where bottlenecks are forming. MiFactro does not ask factories to change how they operate. It sits on top of the processes already in place and makes them visible.

Expanding Across MENA

MiFactro is now rolling out to manufacturers across the region, starting with Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with software built for the way factories in MENA run their floors.

"Most of the manufacturing software available today was never actually designed for factories in this region," said Moustafa Kashef, founder of MiFactro. "We didn't just translate our dashboard into Arabic; we built it for local dialects, starting with Egyptian and Saudi, with more coming as we expand across the region. And our AI agent talks to factory owners in that same dialect. That's part of what sets MiFactro apart."

About MiFactro

MiFactro is a manufacturing execution and production-tracking platform for factories of all sizes across MENA. Built and tested inside live factories across multiple industries, including furniture, metalworking, and plastics, before launching commercially, MiFactro gives manufacturers an AI agent and a live dashboard to track orders, labor, materials, and costs, without the cost or complexity of enterprise ERP systems.
