MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 will bring together international manufacturers in Istanbul, highlighting Türkiye’s growing role as a strategic production hub for European industry.
Istanbul, Türkiye — MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 will take place this autumn in İstanbul, bringing together manufacturers, technology suppliers and trade delegations from across Europe and Eurasia. Recognised as one of the most comprehensive industrial exhibitions in the region, it will be open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 between 28 September and 2 October 2026, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on 3 October at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center.
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 serves not only as a showcase for new technologies but also as a venue for cross-border business partnerships. The event highlights Türkiye’s positioning as an increasingly relevant manufacturing and logistics base within global industrial networks.
Organised by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association (TİAD), and supported by the Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association (MİB) and the Turkish Ministry of Trade, the exhibition will focus on machine tools, digital production systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Clear message about Türkiye’s production capacity
Global manufacturing is undergoing a structural reset. Rising energy and labour costs in Europe, combined with supply chain disruptions and geopolitical risks in Asia, are prompting companies to rethink production strategies. Industrial players are increasingly prioritising resilience, proximity and operational flexibility.
“Against this backdrop, new production corridors are gaining strategic relevance. The shift is not only about cost efficiency but also about securing stable logistics routes, maintaining access to skilled labour and ensuring regulatory alignment with European markets,” said İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc.
“In this context, MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 underlines Türkiye’s production capacity, logistics capabilities, skilled workforce and competitive cost structure, positioning the country as a viable alternative within evolving supply chains.”
Growing relevance for the industry in Europe and Germany
Germany, as Europe’s largest industrial economy, continues to rely heavily on manufacturing, which represents a significant share of economic output. At the same time, German companies are increasingly evaluating alternative production locations that offer proximity to European markets and stable logistics conditions.
“Türkiye’s position within the EU Customs Union for industrial goods and its geographic proximity to Europe place it within this strategic discussion. Its access to multiple regional markets and established industrial infrastructure are contributing to its growing visibility among international manufacturers,” he stated.
Next-gen manufacturing technologies
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 will highlight next-generation production technologies under the concept of “DAHA” meaning “more” in English, referring to faster, more efficient and more precise manufacturing processes.
The exhibition will feature a wide range of technologies, including CNC machine tools, sheet metal processing systems, robotics, automation platforms and digital manufacturing solutions.
Industry 4.0 and emerging Industry 5.0 applications are expected to play a central role, with a focus on digital twins, data-driven production models and integrated manufacturing systems.
A new exhibition experience with MAKTEKVERSE
A defining feature of the 2026 edition is the introduction of the MAKTEKVERSE concept, designed to move beyond traditional exhibition formats.
Within this framework, the Tech-Force Area will showcase projects from students, start-ups and engineers, while the Effect-Force Area will host knowledge-sharing sessions and industry discussions.
This approach reflects a broader shift in industrial events toward interactive, experience-driven formats that integrate innovation, talent development and collaboration.
Meeting point for the international manufacturing industry
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has already recorded strong demand ahead of its opening. More than 52% of exhibition space was reserved within the first 45 days, with occupancy expected to rise further as early-stage agreements are finalised. Applications from both international and domestic companies, along with additional space requests, indicate continued growth in participation and interest.
Alongside the exhibition, partner country programs, delegation meetings and B2B sessions are planned to support cross-border trade and cooperation between European and Eurasian manufacturers.
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is expected to serve as a key meeting point for the international manufacturing industry, offering a platform for technology exchange, business development and long-term industrial partnerships.
