PRESS RELEASE

Mactores Reaches AWS Premier Tier as Agent-Native Modernization Firm

BELLEVUE, Washington, August 6th, 2026, FinanceWire

Founded in 2008 and based in Bellevue, Washington, Mactores moves enterprise data platforms to AWS, retires legacy applications and databases, and ships production AI agents. It has now reached Premier — the highest of the three AWS service partner tiers.

Mactores, the agent-native AWS modernization firm, has been named an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner — the highest level in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network.

AWS organizes its service partners into three tiers: Select, Advanced, and Premier. Premier Tier partners are the ones AWS describes as its most experienced, with deep technical expertise, multiple partner program validations, and a record of delivering for many customers at scale.

The AWS Partner Network is the program through which AWS works with consulting and technology firms that build and deliver on its cloud. Partners move from Select to Advance to Premier by meeting requirements for certified staff, validated customer projects, and sustained performance. AWS publishes the criteria and reviews partners against them on a continuing basis — the tier has to be held, not just reached.

Mactores has delivered on AWS for more than a decade. The firm holds the AWS Agentic AI Specialization, the Generative AI Services Competency, and seven AWS Consulting Competencies — spanning Migration and Modernization, Data and Analytics, Machine Learning, DevOps, AI Services, Healthcare, and Manufacturing — alongside seventeen AWS Service Validations and a team of more than 200 AWS-certified engineers.

The work concentrates on regulated and data-intensive industries: financial services, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, internet and software, and telco, media, entertainment, gaming, and sports. These are the sectors where modernization is most tightly bound to regulatory and audit requirements, and where a stalled program costs the most.

Engagements run on a fixed delivery date and a fixed fee, through five phases — assess, design, build, test, and deploy — with the customer signing each phase exit before the next begins. Forward-deployed engineers make the architecture and cutover decisions. Aedeon, the agent platform built by Aedeon Inc., a separate company founded by the same team, carries the discovery, validation, and monitoring work that traditionally consumed analyst hours. The structure exists to keep modernization from stalling before it reaches production.

“A big thank-you to the Mactores team for the execution. Poshmark recognizes how complex this project was — their expertise made it land,” said Gautam Golwala, Co-founder and CTO of Poshmark.

Premier Tier is granted by AWS and can be confirmed through the partner network’s public listing. It isn’t a guarantee of fit for a specific project — that still depends on competencies and record in the relevant industry — but it narrows the field a buyer considers for large or complex engagements.

Mactores runs an internal certification and training program for its engineering team, and it intends to maintain its Premier Tier standing through continued investment in that program. The company reads the designation as a continuation of its AWS trajectory, not an endpoint.
