PRESS RELEASE

Lead & Mold Detectives Strengthens NYC Environmental Health and Compliance Operations

Roslyn Heights, NY, USA, June 18th, 2026, FinanceWire

Lead & Mold Detectives, a New York-based environmental consulting and hazard detection company, announced the expansion of its operational, digital, and educational initiatives across New York City and Long Island. The expansion includes new compliance education programs, digital response systems, public awareness campaigns, and technology-driven client communication tools designed to support property owners, schools, childcare providers, and residential building managers navigating increasingly complex environmental regulations.

As lead, mold, and environmental safety requirements continue to evolve across New York, the company is expanding its efforts to provide clearer compliance guidance, faster response systems, and broader educational resources. The initiative is intended to help improve access to information while supporting environmental inspections, regulatory compliance, and hazard prevention efforts throughout the region.

This new phase has been driven in large part by the continuous efforts of Marketing Strategist Khawaja Ahmed Wohaib, who has been working with Lead & Mold Detectives for more than two years. Through his leadership and strategy in the marketing department, Wohaib has helped guide key projects in digital outreach, campaign development, client communication, and educational awareness.

Compliance Education and Public Awareness Initiatives

Specializing in lead paint inspections, mold assessments, violation removal support, XRF testing, and local law compliance services, Lead & Mold Detectives has maintained an active presence in New York’s environmental and housing sectors.

Its services help clients comply with regulations, including Local Law 1, Article 43 requirements for school-based childcare programs, lead violations issued by HPD, and housing obligations related to mold concerns.

One of LMD’s main initiatives is the NYC Local Law Compliance Education Initiative, a broad digital campaign aimed at landlords, property managers, and residential building owners.

The goal is to clearly explain the compliance requirements of Local Law 1, HPD violation processes, annual filing obligations, and the steps needed to avoid penalties. The campaign will include borough-specific pages, downloadable checklists, educational blogs, and targeted advertising in high-risk neighborhoods or areas with a greater history of violations.

Also in development is the Article 43 School & Childcare Awareness Program, an educational program aimed at daycare centers, early childhood programs, and schools with childcare services. This initiative seeks to help directors, administrators, and education providers better understand Article 43 compliance requirements. The project will include informational email campaigns, digital resource centers, annual compliance reminders, and visual inspection education materials.

Another important focus will be mold risk prevention. Through its Seasonal Mold Risk Prevention Campaigns, Lead & Mold Detectives will launch recurring campaigns focused on prevention, early detection, and remediation guidance.

These efforts will respond to growing concerns about moisture and indoor air quality across the northeastern United States. The strategy will combine educational social media content, weather-triggered advertising, and inspection reminders during high-risk seasons.

Building Faster Systems for Environmental Emergencies

A new Violation Response & Emergency Inspection Digital Platform is currently in development, designed to streamline emergency inspection requests related to HPD violations, mold complaints, and other environmental hazards.

The system will include real-time request routing, automated follow-ups, and more efficient communication tools to help reduce response times in urgent cases.

This modernization also includes an AI-Driven Client Lifecycle & Compliance Tracking System, supported by advanced CRM and automation infrastructure created specifically for environmental compliance services.

The system will allow LMD to manage automated reminders for recurring inspections, violation follow-ups, local law deadlines, and client communication workflows. With this tool, Lead & Mold Detectives aims to improve internal coordination and strengthen its ongoing relationships with property owners, managers, and organizations that require continuous support.

Expanding Public Understanding of Hidden Environmental Risks

As part of Khawaja Ahmed Wohaib’s continued efforts to strengthen LMD’s public communication and educational outreach, the expansion also includes an educational content series called the Environmental Hazard Education Media Series, focused on informing New Yorkers about hidden environmental risks inside residential buildings.

Topics will include lead dust exposure, mold contamination, unsafe renovation practices, and water-related damage. The series will feature educational articles, visual explainers, compliance guides, and short-form content for digital platforms.

Although environmental safety continues to depend on rigorous inspections, technical experience, and regulatory knowledge, the tools that support it are changing. For Lead & Mold Detectives, this new phase is about bringing together technical work with clearer, faster, and more accessible systems. In a market where a violation can affect a property owner and an environmental hazard can affect a family’s health, information and prevention become central parts of the service.

Wohaib’s role has been central to this evolution. Over the past two years, he has worked closely with Lead & Mold Detectives to strengthen the company’s marketing strategy, digital presence, client engagement, and educational outreach systems. His leadership in the marketing department has supported LMD’s growth into a more efficient and effective environmental compliance resource for customers across New York City.

As environmental enforcement continues to tighten across New York City, Lead & Mold Detectives is positioning itself as both a service provider and an operational partner for property owners navigating complex compliance requirements.

“To effectively serve clients in today’s environment, environmental companies must go beyond testing alone,” said Ariel Yousefzadeh, Partner at Lead & Mold Detectives. “Property owners and residents need access to reliable information, clear compliance guidance, and fast communication systems. Our future growth is focused on building those systems while continuing to provide trusted environmental services throughout New York.”
