Highlight Group publishes results for the first half of 2025
- Consolidated sales amounted to CHF 156.5 million (previous year: CHF 182.9 million) due to production-related factors.
- The equity ratio amounts to 20.0% (December 31, 2024: 24.3%).
- Profit from operations (EBIT) amounted to CHF -27.6 million (previous year: CHF -5.8 million) due to non-recurring special effects and extraordinary operating costs.
Pratteln, August 29, 2025 – Consolidated sales and operating result of the Highlight Group developed as expected in the first half of 2025.
Group development in the first half of 2025
- Due to production-related factors, consolidated sales at CHF 156.5 million as at June 30, 2025 were below the figure for the same period of the previous year (CHF 182.9 million).
- In the first half of 2025, revenue in the Film segment remained almost at the previous year’s level, while revenue in the Sports and Event segment decreased compared to the first half of 2024.
- In the first half of 2025, revenue in the Film segment remained almost at the previous year’s level, while revenue in the Sports and Event segment decreased compared to the first half of 2024.
- EBIT amounted to CHF -27.6 million compared to CHF -5.8 million in the previous year, due to non-recurring special effects in the Sports and Event segment and extraordinary operating costs.
- Consolidated net result for the period was CHF -30.9 million compared to CHF -12.0 million in the first half of 2024.
- With an equity ratio of 20.0% as of June 30, 2025 (December 31, 2024: 24.3%), the Highlight Group remains well financed.
A significant improvement in results is expected for the typically stronger second half of the year due to the virtual elimination of extraordinary costs and positive sales development.
