Faura Connects Product Sourcing, Client Presentation and Delivery From Its New Westminster Residency
London, United Kingdom, October 10th, 2026, FinanceWire
Faura has opened a trade-only interior design residency in Westminster, London, built around a challenge familiar to professional design teams: the work surrounding a design can be as demanding as the design itself. The Faura Interior Design Residency opened in September 2026, following an opening night on 10 September.
The residency brings more than 200 brands into a single trade setting. Its categories include Italian furniture, lighting, natural stone and surfaces, bathrooms and brassware, textiles, paint, and architectural hardware. The breadth is intended to let interior designers, architects, developers and contractors work across the components of an interior without separating every decision into a different supplier conversation.
The model addresses the handoffs that occur after a concept has been developed. A designer may need to identify products, assemble a specification, obtain client approval, arrange purchasing and coordinate delivery. Each stage can involve different contacts and records. At Faura, trade clients can specify in one place and ask the Faura team to manage procurement, logistics and delivery as one order and one invoice across brands.
The model is also designed around client communication. The residency’s products are shown in finished spaces, allowing a professional to present a scheme in context. Instead of relying solely on individual samples or catalogue pages, a designer can discuss furniture, lighting, surfaces, bathroom elements, textiles, paint and hardware as parts of a coherent interior. A finished setting can make a specification easier for a client to understand before it moves into procurement.
“Designers told us the hardest part of a project is rarely the design itself. It is everything around it: the sourcing, the paperwork and the logistics,” said Eugene, Director of Partnerships at Faura. “We built the residency so that a designer can specify, show the scheme to their client and place the order in one place, and then get back to designing.”
For a design practice, centralising those tasks is less about adding another showroom visit than about creating a clearer workflow. Product discovery and client presentation can happen in the same environment, and the subsequent order can be managed through the same organisation. The arrangement is aimed at reducing the operational burden that can draw attention away from design development.
The trade-only format is relevant to more than one kind of professional. Interior designers and architects can use the residency to develop schemes and conduct presentations. Developers can review products and finishes in relation to a broader project. Contractors can engage with the materials and seek introductions for certain installation needs. Faura can provide contractor introductions on request for tiling, decorating, electrical and smart-home installation.
Access is by appointment Monday through Friday, 09:00-18:00. That appointment-based approach supports a working environment in which visitors can focus on a project, its requirements and the decisions still to be made. It also keeps the residency oriented toward trade work rather than general browsing.
A multi-brand procurement route does not remove the need for professional judgement. Designers still select the products, shape the scheme and guide the client through choices. What changes is the way the related administrative work can be organised once those choices are made. The designer can retain ownership of the creative direction while Faura’s team coordinates the sourcing and movement of goods across represented brands.
The residency’s finished spaces serve a similar practical purpose. They offer a setting where a client can encounter a proposal at the scale and relationship of an interior, while the designer can explain the details that make the scheme work. A shared reference point supports more precise conversations about materials and finishes.
Faura’s opening in Westminster reflects a wider need for design infrastructure that connects inspiration with execution. Interiors are assembled from many categories, but the project is experienced as one place. By bringing those categories together and offering a single route through procurement and delivery, the residency is positioned as a resource for teams managing both the design and the administration of a project.
Trade professionals can apply for a trade account. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 09:00-18:00.
