FairCap acquires Omron Automotive Electronics Italy S.r.l. from the Japanese Omron Corporation

Munich, November 28, 2025 – FairCap has completed the 100% acquisition of Omron Automotive Electronics Italy S.r.l. from the publicly listed Japanese group Omron Corporation. As part of the carve-out, the company has been rebranded as OBITEC S.r.l. (“OBITEC”), effective immediately.

Headquartered in Frosinone (Italy), OBITEC is a leading manufacturer of plug-in relays and relay modules, operating a state-of-the-art production facility and employing more than 150 people. Its customer base includes major Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers as well as blue-chip OEMs in the automotive sector.

In addition to managing the carve-out, FairCap intends to transform the company through its dedicated operations expert team. Pursuing an active buy-and-build strategy, FairCap aims to broaden OBITEC’s product portfolio and shape an integrated electronics platform.
