Frankfurt am Main, 3 July 2023. DIC Asset AG (“DIC”) ISIN: DE000A1X3XX4, one of Germany’s leading listed property companies, just signed a lease agreement for the entire “innovation parc” logistics property of over 15,600 sqm of total floor area directly after its completion. Sole tenant is Christian Carstensen GmbH & Co. KG, an internationally operating logistics service provider. The lease was signed for a six-year term. In recognition of its particularly energy-efficient type of construction, the logistics property was certified for the DGNB “Gold” sustainability standard. Accordingly, the property has also increased the proportion of green buildings in the Commercial Portfolio.

“We acquired ‘innovation parc’ before it was let because we found both its location within the logistics region of Hanover and its concept quite compelling. The fact that we managed to let the property to a high-net-worth tenant directly upon completion demonstrates that we invested in the right kind of product, one that will help us to steadily enhance our operational performance and to create sustainable value for our stakeholders,” said Christian Fritzsche, Chief Operations Officer at DIC Asset AG.

“We are planning to merge our two facilities in Hanover, and are very glad to be implementing our growth plans at the modern and sustainable premises of ‘innovation parc’ with creative and dynamic partners like DIC and Bertram Projektmanagement GmbH,” said Thies Henrik Carstensen, the managing director of Christian Carstensen GmbH & Co. KG.

DIC acquired the logistics property from the company Bertram Projektmanagement GmbH. It is located on a plot of 33,000 sqm inside the Godshorn trading estate on Erdinger Strasse in Langenhagen near Hanover. The site has very convenient access to the inter-regional highway network in the directions north-south (A7 motorway) and east-west (A2 and A352 motorways) while being close to Germany’s main North Sea ports.
