Cybri Acquires WraithScan to Expand Continuous Application Security Testing for Modern Development Teams
New York, USA, June 11th, 2026, FinanceWire
Cybri, a New York-based penetration testing company, announced today that it has acquired WraithScan, a cybersecurity platform created by Michael McClelland focused on web application security monitoring, external attack surface visibility and cloud configuration analysis.
The acquisition expands Cybri’s ability to combine manual penetration testing with continuous automated security testing for companies operating modern cloud-native applications in AWS and Azure environments.
WraithScan was built to help smaller development teams maintain stronger security visibility without requiring large internal security teams or enterprise-scale budgets. The platform provides continuous monitoring for web application exposure, internet-facing assets, and cloud security configurations while helping organizations align with compliance frameworks, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Cybri plans to integrate WraithScan into its existing penetration testing and vulnerability management services as its primary continuous DAST and security monitoring platform.
“Security testing is often fragmented between point-in-time pentests and disconnected automated scanners,” said Konstantine Zuckerman, co-founder and CEO at Cybri. “By integrating WraithScan into our testing workflow, we can provide customers with both expert-led manual testing and continuous visibility into application and cloud risk.”
Founded in 2017, Cybri specializes in application penetration testing for technology companies running cloud-native infrastructure. The company focuses heavily on AWS- and Azure-powered environments and performs testing using OSCP- and OSWE-certified security testers. Many of Cybri’s clients have worked with the company for more than five years as part of long-term security and vulnerability management programs.
WraithScan’s technology was designed to simplify continuous security monitoring for organizations that need practical visibility into application risk, exposed assets and cloud misconfigurations without adopting complex enterprise tooling.
“WraithScan started with the idea that smaller engineering teams still need meaningful security visibility, even if they do not have dedicated security departments,” said Michael McClelland, creator of WraithScan. “Merging with Cybri allows the platform to become part of a broader security testing program that combines automation with deep manual expertise.
The acquisition reflects growing demand for continuous application security testing as organizations face increasing pressure to secure cloud infrastructure, meet compliance requirements and reduce external attack surface exposure while shipping software at a faster pace.
