Before the First Trade: iFOREX Launches Free Webinars for Latin America

Peruvian economist Eduardo Recoba leads sessions exploring how financial markets work, what moves prices and why risk management matters before trading.

iFOREX announces "Empieza a ver el dinero de otra manera" ("Start seeing money differently"), a free financial education webinar series for Latin America exploring financial markets, trading concepts and risk management.

What moves a market — and what should someone understand before placing a first trade? These questions sit at the centre of the new series. Taking a practical, jargon-free approach, the sessions introduce participants to how financial markets operate, key trading concepts, market analysis and risk management principles — with content designed specifically for those at the beginning of their trading journey.

The series is led by Eduardo Recoba, a Peruvian economist, journalist, university lecturer and market analyst at iFOREX. Participants will gain an introduction to how financial markets operate, key trading concepts, risk management principles and market analysis, using examples designed to make complex subjects easier to understand.

The launch takes place against a backdrop of expanding access to financial services across Latin America. According to the World Bank's Global Findex 2025, 70% of adults in Latin America and the Caribbean held a financial account, up from 39% in 2011. In Mexico, the ENIF 2024, published by INEGI and CNBV, shows that nearly eight in ten people hold at least one financial product, the highest level recorded since 2015.
