AIFO Funding Overhauls 2026 Trading Challenges With Fewer Restrictions and Clearer Risk Rules

Mutsamudu, Comoros, September 10th, 2026, FinanceWire

AIFO Funding 2026 trading challenge rules update for 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint.

AIFO Funding has introduced a major September 2026 rules update across its 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint trading challenges, replacing a more generalised rules approach with clearer challenge-specific conditions. The update changes profit targets, drawdown structures, minimum trading days and selected restrictions, while removing the dedicated Consistency Score from both 1-Step and 2-Step. The most visible changes include the removal of the previous 70% margin-usage restriction from 1-Step and a move to Static Maximum Loss for both 1-Step and 2-Step. Jun Yu, Founder and CEO of AIFO Funding, said the aim is to make risk boundaries easier to understand without removing core risk controls.

“Less complexity. More clarity. More flexibility,” said Jun Yu, Founder and CEO of AIFO Funding.

WHAT CHANGED: 1-STEP AND 2-STEP NOW HAVE FEWER OVERLAPPING CONDITIONS

The biggest before-and-after difference is visible in the evaluation challenges. AIFO 1-Step now has a 10% Profit Target, 3% Daily Loss Limit, 6% Static Maximum Loss Limit, and a minimum of two trading days. Compared with the previous structure, the dedicated Consistency Score and 70% margin-usage restriction have been removed.

AIFO 2-Step now uses an 8% Phase 1 target followed by a 5% Phase 2 target, together with a 5% Daily Loss Limit, 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit, and a minimum of three trading days. Its dedicated Consistency Score requirement has also been removed.

The result is a clearer separation between the two evaluation challenges: 1-Step offers a more direct route with one target, while 2-Step keeps a staged evaluation but with fewer overlapping conditions. Both now use Static Maximum Loss, giving traders a fixed maximum-loss reference based on the initial account balance.

INSTANT AND SPRINT ARE NOW EASIER TO COMPARE AGAINST THE EVALUATION CHALLENGES

The update also makes AIFO Instant and AIFO Sprint easier to distinguish from the evaluation challenges rather than treating every route as a variation of the same structure.

AIFO Instant continues to provide direct account access without a traditional evaluation. Its current rules include a 3% Daily Loss Limit, 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown, 2% maximum floating loss per trade, a 2% profit buffer, and a $100 minimum payout. Unlike 1-Step and 2-Step, Instant therefore retains a Historical Maximum Drawdown structure.

AIFO Sprint takes a different approach again, using a 3% Profit Target inside a 24-hour challenge window for traders who prefer a short, time-defined evaluation.

This comparison is central to the September update. Instead of asking traders to interpret one broad set of rules across every account path, AIFO is making each challenge easier to understand on its own terms: how the target works, how losses are measured, how long the challenge takes, and which additional conditions apply.

“Rules should define the boundaries — not get in the way of the trader’s strategy,” said Jun Yu, Founder and CEO of AIFO Funding.

The AIFO New Rules are now live across the challenges included in the September 2026 announcement. Traders are encouraged to review the exact rules attached to the challenge they select, as conditions differ between 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant, and Sprint.
