EQS-Adhoc: SAP SE: SAP Updates its Ambition 2025 and Announces Transformation Program for 2024
SAP SE has announced a company-wide transformation program for 2024, including a restructuring plan and updates to its ambition for 2025. The update reflects the strong performance in the fourth quarter of 2023 and includes the updated non-IFRS definition of profit measures, as well as anticipated benefits from the new program. The transformation program will focus on scalability of operations and key strategic growth areas, with a significant focus on Business AI. The restructuring program is expected to cover approximately 8,000 positions, with restructuring expenses projected around €2 billion. The financial outlook for 2024 includes expectations of increased cloud revenue and non-IFRS operating profit. SAP will discuss these developments in detail during its financial analyst conference call on January 24th, 2024.
