ZPMC Makes Strategic Entry into South Korea with Advanced Portal Cranes

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC), a leader in port equipment and lifting solutions, has made a significant move by delivering the first of three cutting-edge portal cranes to Hanwha Ocean's shipyard in South Korea. This marks ZPMC's debut in the South Korean market and signifies a major step in its international growth within the industrial equipment sector.

The newly delivered crane boasts a 12-meter rail span and a 17-meter base, with a luffing range of 20 to 72 meters. It has a lifting capacity of 60 tons, enhancing shipyard productivity. It features ZPMC's Intelligent Crane Safety System for automation-based safety, an Advanced Load Positioning System for energy efficiency, and enhanced operator accessibility via an integrated elevator.

This milestone highlights the technological prowess of Chinese manufacturing and opens doors for global collaborations in heavy equipment and infrastructure.
