ZCCM-IH Records a 107% Decline in its EPS by 2025
ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc announced a significant decrease in its earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. EPS is down 107% compared to the previous year. This decline is primarily due to the absence of an exceptional investment gain realized in 2024.
Furthermore, Mopani Copper Mines Plc and Konkola Copper Mines Plc, subsidiaries undergoing strategic reforms, also underperformed. As a result, ZCCM-IH recorded a net loss of ZMW 2.79 billion, compared to a projected net profit of ZMW 39.85 billion in 2024.
It should be noted that these financial results have not been audited, and shareholders are advised to exercise caution when trading in the company's securities until the full results are published. These results are expected on June 30, 2026.
