ZCCM-IH Announces Extraordinary General Meeting to Address Key Resolutions
ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc (ZCCM-IH) has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting for its shareholders. The meeting will be held both physically at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka and virtually. Key resolutions include amendments to the Articles of Association and authorizing share repurchase from odd-lot holders.
Special Resolution Number 1 seeks shareholder approval for amendments aligning the Articles with the State-Owned Enterprises Act of 2026 and facilitating trading on the London Stock Exchange. Special Resolution Number 2 authorizes the company to buy shares from odd-lot holders. Ordinary Resolution Number 1 implements the Odd-lot Offer. For resolutions to pass, specific voting thresholds must be met, with 75% for special resolutions and over 50% for the ordinary resolution.
