Yidan Prize Foundation Bridges Global Insights at Annual Summit
The Yidan Prize Foundation, a prominent philanthropic organization based in Hong Kong, gathered more than 500 educators, youth, and NGO leaders from over 50 countries at its annual summit. This event aimed to unite global insights with local expertise in education. A moment of silence was observed for victims of the Tai Po fire. The summit featured dialogues on critical education topics, such as AI, edtech opportunities, and leadership cultivation.
Highlights included insights from esteemed speakers like Professor Ju-Ho Lee and UNESCO’s Dr. Fengchun Miao. The summit also celebrated the achievements of 2025 Yidan Prize laureates, who received their awards on December 6. Professors Uri Wilensky and Mamadou Amadou Ly shared their visions for advancing education through computational thinking and multilingualism, respectively.
