Anhui Province Launches Contest to Attract Global Sci-Tech Talents

From May to September 2026, Anhui Province in China will host an innovation and entrepreneurship competition in Hefei. This event aims to attract global sci-tech talents and projects to the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi). The competition, themed "Go with Dream," is open to overseas and non-local sci-tech innovators until July 31, with preliminary rounds beginning in August and finals in September.

The contest includes three tracks focused on leading, emerging, and future industries. Participants are encouraged to submit projects with original innovations and strong market potential, aligning with Hefei's industrial development priorities. Sectors include artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and 6G technology.

GUiTEK Service Platform and USTC Innovation Valley organize the event, offering a prize pool of 4.2 million yuan. Winning teams establishing operations in the GUi within nine months can claim prize money. Additionally, a "Dream Fund" of 100 million yuan will support outstanding projects, offering benefits like rent reduction and venture capital access.
