Allianz Holdings Joins Wrisk's Series B Funding Round

Wrisk Limited, a digital insurance platform focused on the automotive sector, announced that Allianz Holdings plc has become a strategic investor in its Series B funding round. This round was led by Alma Mundi Ventures and Opera Tech Ventures. Allianz's investment strengthens Wrisk's position with automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It emphasizes the increasing need for collaboration between insurers and embedded insurance platforms.

Allianz has been Wrisk's primary underwriter for nearly a decade. This investment is significant for Wrisk’s expanding OEM client base, many of whom seek strategic relationships with select insurer partners. Wrisk’s data-driven platform offers advantages in data enrichment, risk selection, and pricing.

The Series B funding will aid Wrisk’s international expansion and enhance its data science capabilities. CEO Nimeshh Patel stated that Allianz's investment endorses Wrisk's strategy of fostering close relationships between insurers and OEMs.
