Bpifrance exceeds the 10% threshold of voting rights in Worldline
On March 10, 2026, Bpifrance crossed the 10% threshold of voting rights in Worldline. This increase resulted from subscribing to a capital increase, bringing their stake to 11.82% of voting rights, or 9.59% of the share capital. This represents 43,492,034 voting rights.
Bpifrance has stated that it does not intend to take control of Worldline. The intention is to continue supporting the company's development without strategic constraints. Collaboration with Thierry Sommelet, who sits on Worldline's board of directors, has been confirmed. Bpifrance may request a second seat depending on the post-transaction share capital structure.
