Wolfden Completes Initial Drilling at Nevada Gold Project
Wolfden Resources Corp. has announced the completion of three core drill holes, totaling approximately 1,600 meters, at its Rockland Gold Project in Nevada. The drilling aims to extend and explore significant historical mineralization at the site, which is part of the Walker Lane Trend. Visual indications from the initial holes suggest a steeply dipping volcanic conduit with potential for higher-grade mineralization.
The first two drill holes, REP18 and REP22, confirmed extensive altered and mineralized rhyolite zones, indicating a potential expansive system. A third hole, REP25, targeted deeper structures and revealed similar rhyolitic compositions, poised for further analysis pending assay results. These findings strengthen the potential geometry and structural understanding of the mineralized zones, pending final assay verification.
