WIRobotics Secures KRW 95 Billion Series B Funding
WIRobotics, a global robotics company based in Seoul, South Korea, has announced the completion of a KRW 95 billion (approximately USD 68 million) Series B funding round. This significant investment, led by JB Investment and joined by several other financial entities, showcases growing confidence in WIRobotics' technologies.
The funding follows a KRW 13 billion Series A in 2024, underscoring a strong belief in the commercialization potential of their robotics innovations. The company is advancing its humanoid robot platform "ALLEX," focusing on enhancing human movement understanding. Participation in NVIDIA's "Physical AI Fellowship" further validates its technological promise.
WIRobotics' wearable walking-assist robot, "WIM," has expanded sales into Europe, China, Türkiye, and Japan, with revenue increasing significantly year-over-year. Recognition from CES Innovation Awards for three years highlights WIM's competitive edge in the global market.
