Wienerberger Reports 6% Revenue Growth in First Half of 2025
Wienerberger AG reported a 6% increase in revenue in the first half of 2025, reaching €2.3 billion compared to €2.2 billion in H1 2024. Despite challenging market conditions, the operating EBITDA was €383 million, slightly down from €400 million in H1 2024. The full-year EBITDA guidance remains at around €800 million.
Earnings per share rose to approximately €1, with profit after tax climbing to €108 million. The company's results underline the stability provided by its diversified business model, notably in piping, roofing, and infrastructure sectors. Selected European markets started showing recovery signs, though high interest rates continue to impede the residential housing market in many regions.
Strategic acquisitions in Europe bolstered Wienerberger's position, particularly in the pipe business and solar solutions. The company aims to maintain robust margins and continue its strategic initiatives, confirming its mid-term target of achieving over €1.2 billion EBITDA.
