Wendel's Strategic Transformation Unveiled at Investor Day

Wendel, a prominent investment firm, outlined a comprehensive transformation strategy during its Investor Day in Paris. This strategic shift focuses on generating over €7 billion in cash flow by 2030, including €1.6 billion returned to shareholders. Wendel's evolution into a global entity emphasizes value creation through private assets. Key components include accelerated asset management growth and active investment management.

The company has established a strong presence in North America and Europe, leveraging two growth drivers: its private asset management platform and investment activities. Wendel Investment Managers (WIM) aims to manage over €46 billion in assets by 2026, while Wendel Principal Investments (WPI) continues to refine its portfolio management.

Cash flows will be invested in WIM and WPI, returned to shareholders, or allocated for new investments. Shareholder returns are anticipated to exceed €1.6 billion by 2030 through dividends and a substantial share buyback program, reflecting Wendel's commitment to enhancing shareholder value.
