Wendel announces a major strategic transformation
At its 24th Investor Day, Wendel presented its transformation from a traditional holding company into a global investment firm. Wendel plans to generate over €7 billion in cash by 2030, with a return of at least €1.6 billion to shareholders. This transformation is based on two pillars: Wendel Investment Managers (WIM), which will manage €46 billion in assets, and Wendel Principal Investments (WPI), focused on direct investments.
Wendel is planning an ambitious shareholder return policy, including the cancellation of 3.8% of its share capital in 2026 and a 9% share buyback program. The company plans to invest €2.5 billion through WIM and €1.7 billion in WPI. The remaining €1.2 billion could be used for further investments or additional shareholder returns.
