WALLIX and Inria: a partnership for sovereign AI in cybersecurity

On June 18, 2026, at VivaTech, WALLIX and Inria announced a strategic partnership to develop sovereign AI dedicated to cybersecurity for identities and access. This collaboration is based on research projects, technological challenges, and innovative initiatives.

The work will focus on behavioral analysis, intelligent access governance, and continuous compliance. The partnership builds on previous collaborations, such as with the startup Malizen. The goal is to strengthen information systems security and meet increasing compliance requirements.

The collaboration between public research and French industry aims to create AI solutions that combine performance and technological independence, essential in the face of growing cyber threats. This marks Inria's first strategic partnership with a French cybersecurity player and illustrates the success of the Etincelles initiative.
