Waga Energy Reports Full Year EBITDA Breakeven
Waga Energy, a leader in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production, achieved a significant milestone in 2025 by reaching a full-year EBITDA breakeven of €1.2 million, representing an increase of €3.8 million year-over-year. This was primarily due to a 23% rise in RNG production revenues and effective cost management. The company continues to progress despite a softer market, with 238 projects amounting to 18.8 TWh annually, marking a 12% increase from the previous year.
In 2025, Waga Energy produced 674 GWh of RNG, preventing 311,000 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions. The company's industrial capabilities are evident with 36 operational units and 19 under construction, totaling an estimated capacity of 3.8 TWh per annum. Strong liquidity positions Waga Energy for future growth, with €60 million in cash and €190 million in undrawn debt.
