Vulcan Energy Advances Lionheart Project in Q3 2025
Vulcan Energy Resources Limited has reported significant advancements in its Lionheart Project during Q3 2025. The project's capacity includes 275 GWh of power and 24,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LHM) annually, enough for 500,000 electric vehicles.
Notable developments include a €104 million grant from German governments to boost domestic lithium production. A €30 million strategic placement was completed, led by BNP Paribas' Clean Energy Solutions Fund.
Vulcan successfully updated the lithium brine resource estimate and initiated geothermal energy production. Key supply contracts were secured with NORAM Electrolysis Systems and a consortium between Turboden and ROM Technik.
Furthermore, the company signed an LHM offtake agreement with Glencore, expecting transformative outcomes as it finalizes Phase One financing.
