Voyageurs du Monde Reports Revenue Growth Amid Challenges
Paris-based travel company, Voyageurs du Monde, witnessed a slight revenue increase in the first half of 2026. Sales rose to €323.4 million, up 1.9% from €317.3 million in the comparable period of 2025. Adventure travel led the growth with a 4.7% increase, and cycling holidays saw a 5.7% rise. However, tailor-made travel slightly declined by 0.6%.
The Middle East conflict affected operations, disrupting travel especially to Jordan, Oman, and the UAE, necessitating trip cancellations and repatriations. Despite this, the company maintained a robust gross profit margin of 32.7%. However, EBITDA dipped by 2.7%, and net income fell 20% due to rising expenses.
Looking forward, Voyageurs du Monde plans to expand into Germany and Italy and grow its adventure travel services through the new Active Trails brand. A proposed public buyout offer is also underway, valued at €180 per share, with a compliance decision expected from the AMF.
