Vox Royalty Announces Extension at Bonikro Mine
Vox Royalty Corp. has reported that Allied Gold Corporation has extended the life of the Bonikro gold mine in Côte d'Ivoire to 2036. This update also projects an annual gold production surpassing 120,000 ounces. Vox holds an offtake-stream of 50% of Bonikro's gold production, part of a portfolio acquired in 2025.
Kyle Floyd, Vox's CEO, highlighted a 400% increase in life-of-mine production, strengthening Bonikro as a pivotal asset within Vox's portfolio. Several underlying mines tied to the portfolio have gained acquisition interest, enhancing asset quality.
Allied Gold considers plant expansion, with studies ongoing. Bonikro's 2025 gold yield was 100,678 ounces, and 2026 projections are between 105,000 and 110,000 ounces. Ongoing exploration supports inventory expansion.
