Vonovia's 9-Month Results Show Resilience Amidst Challenges
Vonovia SE has reported its nine-month results for 2026, highlighting robust performance in its core operations despite a tough macroeconomic landscape. The company's Adj. EBITDA Rental rose by 3.5% to €1,912.2 million, fueled by strong rental demand and growth in the Value-add segment. However, sales-driven segments faced constraints due to market conditions, affecting earnings from Recurring Sales and Development.
In the Value-add segment, Adj. EBITDA saw a significant 31.4% increase, attributed to Vonovia's craftsmen organization and energy ventures. Overall, Adj. EBITDA Total grew 3.3% to €2,187.4 million, while higher financing costs led to a 3.5% decline in Adj. EBT to €1,408.0 million.
Despite challenging financing conditions, Vonovia executed disposals worth €900 million. The company's guidance anticipates stable EBITDA totals and organic rent growth of about 3.8% for 2026.
CFO Philip Grosse has announced his decision not to seek term extension beyond 2027, intending to ensure a smooth transition for the successor.
