Voestalpine AG Reports Earnings Increase Despite Revenue Drop
voestalpine AG announced a solid financial performance for the first three quarters of the 2025/26 business year amid challenging market conditions. Though revenue decreased slightly to EUR 11.1 billion, the company's EBITDA rose by 7.2% to EUR 1 billion. The EBIT saw a significant 20.9% increase, achieving EUR 473 million. Profit before tax climbed by 46.5% to EUR 372 million, with profit after tax growing by 25.1% to EUR 259 million.
The company's strategic focus on efficiency, reorganization, and growth projects contributed to these results. Despite a decrease in workforce, voestalpine maintained a strong free cash flow of EUR 345 million and improved its financial stability by reducing net debt to EUR 1.4 billion. The outlook for the fiscal year remains optimistic, with an expected EBITDA range of EUR 1.4 to 1.55 billion.
