Vivendi's 2025 Financial Results Indicate Positive Performance

Stock price chart of VIVENDI (EPA:VIV) showing fluctuations.

Vivendi reported a 4.3% revenue increase in 2025 compared to 2024, reaching €307 million. A significant factor was Gameloft, contributing strongly with a 4.2% rise in revenues and a 34% increase in EBITA, excluding restructuring. This highlights the success of Vivendi's transformation strategy despite challenges in the gaming industry.

Operating profits, or EBITA, were €45 million, a turnaround from a €1 million loss the previous year. Cost-cutting at the corporate level led to €27 million in savings. Earnings to Vivendi SE shareowners amounted to €20 million. Meanwhile, listed holdings dipped from €6,887 million in 2024 to €5,532 million in 2025, primarily due to divestitures.

Financial net debt saw improvement, dropping over €1 billion to €1.5 billion. The strategic sale of telecom assets in Italy and Spain facilitated this debt reduction and a shift towards core activities in content and entertainment.
