Viscom SE: 2026 Financial Year Shows Slow Start but Positive Outlook
Viscom SE, a leader in automated inspection systems, reports a subdued start to 2026 with revenue at €14,360 thousand, down 27.4% from the previous year. EBIT showed a deficit of €3,994 thousand. Despite this, incoming orders grew by 7% to €21,808 thousand, and the order backlog increased by 29.9% to €26,644 thousand. Viscom attributes the weak start to the seasonal nature of its business and expects improved performance later in the year as current orders are processed.
Regionally, growth is anticipated outside Europe, notably in Asia and the Americas. Challenges include trade tensions and currency volatility. The automotive sector is expected to recover moderately, influenced by technological transitions. Viscom aims to enhance efficiency and strategic growth, focusing on sectors such as electronic assemblies and inspection systems. The company reaffirmed its full-year forecast, targeting revenue of €80 to €90 million with an EBIT margin of 2% to 5%.
