65,000 Sercel nodes for a seismic study in Mexico
Viridien, through its Sercel division, delivered a complete land nodal acquisition system to Sinopec for a 3D seismic survey in Mexico. The project covers an area of 3,000 square kilometers, spanning the Tabasco and Veracruz regions. The system includes 65,000 WiNG nodes, suitable for difficult terrain such as plains and swamps.
This project demonstrates the effectiveness of the WiNG system, renowned for its reliability in complex conditions. Thanks to Pathfinder technology, seismic data remains accurate and controlled. Jérôme Denigot of Viridien highlights the robustness of this technology, which also strengthens Sercel's presence in Latin America.
