Villeroy & Boch Revises 2026 Financial Forecast
On September 18, 2026, Villeroy & Boch AG announced an adjustment to its financial forecast for the year. Persistent geopolitical tensions and resulting economic challenges have negatively impacted revenue performance in the third quarter, prompting a forecast revision. The company now anticipates a high single-digit percentage decline in revenue for 2026, with operating EBIT expected between €50 million and €56 million. This marks a downward adjustment from the previously anticipated €75 million EBIT. Furthermore, the return on net operating assets is projected to decrease from 8.5%-10% to 5.5%-6.5%.
The management has also refined its dividend policy, ensuring distribution does not exceed annual results, with a minimum dividend proposed. Capital expenditure for the year remains around €40 million. Further business performance details will be disclosed in the interim report due on October 27, 2026.
