ViferaXS Secures €12 Million for Cancer Trial and Pipeline Expansion

ViferaXS GmbH, a biotechnology company specializing in peptide-based cancer immunotherapy, has raised €12 million in a Series A financing round. The funding, led by SPRIND and Huma, includes contributions from private investors. The investment supports a Phase II trial for the CLLTAXS01 program targeting chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Located in Tübingen, Germany, ViferaXS is expanding its oncology pipeline. The funds will additionally back ongoing Phase I trials in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and fibrolamellar carcinoma (FLC). This move is intended to fuel further research and team growth at ViferaXS.

Sezai Taskin, CEO of ViferaXS, highlights the investment's role in advancing their peptide-based immunotherapy.
