VIB Vermögen AG Acquires Institutional Business from Branicks Group AG

VIB Vermögen AG has acquired the institutional business of Branicks Group AG, with the deal finalized on July 7, 2025. This acquisition involves a transfer valued at approximately EUR 360 million. The move aligns with VIB's strategy to expand its ‘Institutional Business’ division, encompassing management and structuring of funds, club deals, and mandates for institutional investors across all phases.

The acquisition includes the operational management of Branicks Group's institutional business. Dirk Oehme, Spokesman of the Managing Board of VIB, marked this as a significant milestone in their business strategy. Upon completion, the transaction will also offset VIB’s claims against Branicks from a prior loan.
