VeroNex Introduces EU2122 Standard for AI Verification Receipts

VeroNex VERLAG GmbH has submitted the EU2122 content standard for AI output verification receipts to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). The EU2122 is the first European specification developed to define the contents of AI verification receipts under EU regulations.

The specification, titled 'EU2122 V1.0 Standard: Content Profile for AI Output Verification Receipts,' outlines the necessary fields, classification frameworks, and evidentiary properties for compliance with the EU AI Act and Product Liability Directive. This marks a significant milestone as it addresses the content requirements absent in existing standards, which have primarily been developed by American entities.

The EU2122 standard includes various technical specifications, such as a taxonomy for classifying AI output errors and mandatory fields for ensuring cryptographic integrity. It supports regulatory compliance with the EU AI Act's transparency obligations and the Product Liability Directive's requirements for AI systems.
