Verimatrix's financial review for the first half of 2026: Refocusing and outlook

Verimatrix released its financial results for the first half of 2026, highlighting a refocusing on its anti-theft business following the sale of its Extended Threat Defense line. Revenue reached $21.3 million, a decrease of 11% compared to 2025, due to an unfavorable base effect. However, subscription growth remained strong, increasing by 9% to $8.0 million.

The group recorded an increase in ARR to $16.1 million (+11%). Despite a decrease in adjusted EBITDA to $1.9 million, Verimatrix strengthened its financial structure by renegotiating its private debt, now at a rate of 6% compared to 12% previously.

Verimatrix anticipates revenue growth in 2026, accompanied by a minimum EBITDA of $3 million. The strategy aims to strengthen its position in the Anti-Piracy sector and explore new avenues in the OTT market.
