Vergnet secures €2 million in bond financing
Vergnet announces a €2 million bond financing round with Hexagon Capital Fund. This financing, in the form of bonds with warrants, will support the company's commercial recovery efforts. The subscription period runs until November 17, 2026.
However, this financing presents challenges, notably the potential dilution of equity for current shareholders. The bonds, bearing an annual interest rate of 12%, will be repaid over 24 months. Hexagon Capital Fund could quickly sell the acquired shares, impacting the share price.
In the event of default, repayment may be made in shares at a discount. The board of directors approved this transaction using a delegation of authority granted at the Extraordinary General Meeting of September 2024.
