Verallia Concludes Put Option Exercise for 2028 and 2031 Notes
Verallia has announced the results of the Put Option exercise related to its 2028 and 2031 Notes. This follows a Change of Control due to BWGI's successful public tender offer. Noteholders had the right to request redemption of their Notes at their principal amount plus accrued interest by August 25, 2025.
For the 2028 Notes, a total of €399.7 million was redeemed, leaving €100.3 million outstanding. The redemption amount, including interest, is €401.78 million. For the 2031 Notes, €429.8 million was redeemed, leaving €70.2 million outstanding. The redemption amount, including interest, is €436.47 million.
The payments will be financed through a bridge loan, which Verallia plans to refinance with new bank or bond financings.
