Veolia Advances with €570M in Asset Divestments
Veolia has made substantial progress in its strategic portfolio transformation by signing €570 million in divestments in 2026. This achievement forms part of a broader €2 billion divestment plan, which aims to refocus the Group on high-growth, innovation-driven sectors globally. The successful divestments to date have exceeded both the scheduled timeline and valuation expectations.
The company's strategy involves rotating over €8 billion in assets, concentrating acquisitions in the Booster/Tech sectors and international markets. The portfolio overhaul is set to strengthen Veolia's growth and returns. The divestments include non-core activities and businesses outside the top three market positions.
Signed deals span various regions, including Europe and South Korea, with cumulative enterprise value showing an average valuation multiple of approximately 10.4 times EBITDA. Veolia aims to complete its €2 billion divestment program by mid-2028.
