Vaudoise Assurances lays the foundation stone of an innovative building in Zurich

Vaudoise Assurances has launched the construction of a residential building in Zurich-Seebach, near the Oerlikon train station, with the laying of the foundation stone. The project will comprise 40 apartments on a plot of over 2,000 m². Designed by Implenia, the building is constructed using modular timber to promote sustainability and is targeting SNBS Gold certification.

The construction uses prefabricated elements, ensuring higher quality and reducing construction time by 20% compared to conventional methods. The structure incorporates renewable materials and sustainable energy solutions, such as a photovoltaic system and an air-to-water heat pump.

The outdoor spaces will encourage active transportation and biodiversity, with relaxation areas and suitable plantings. The project reflects Vaudoise's commitment to a sustainable real estate strategy.
