Vallourec Secures Five Contracts for OCTG in Indonesia
On March 25, 2026, Vallourec announced that it had signed two contracts in February 2026 for 14,000 tons of OCTG products. These are part of five contracts recently secured with various operators in Indonesia. In total, these agreements amount to approximately 36,000 tons of premium pipes and connections aimed at supporting oil and gas operations across roughly 140 wells in the region.
The projects are mainly in deep offshore environments, reflecting Indonesia's energy sector's technical demands, which require solutions for high pressure and extreme conditions. Vallourec will provide advanced connections, including the VAM® 21, noted for its safety and reliability.
The pipes will be processed at Vallourec's Indonesian subsidiary, PTCT, enhancing local production and value. Jérôme Favre, Senior Vice-President of OCTG Services, emphasized the longstanding trust with key Indonesian oil and gas players and the market's recognition of their VAM® 21 connections.
