Goldman Sachs reduces its stake in Valeo
On October 22, 2025, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. announced that it had dropped below the 5% threshold in Valeo's capital. This statement, received by mail, specifies that Goldman Sachs' indirect stake is now 4.96% of the capital and 4.41% of the voting rights following an off-market share sale on October 17.
Goldman Sachs, through its subsidiaries, holds 1,512,101 Valeo shares through financial transactions such as securities lending and options. In addition, 3,997,404 shares are held through swap and call warrant contracts.
This change in stake, while still significant, marks a reduction in Goldman Sachs' influence over the French automotive supplier.
