BlackRock exceeds the 5% threshold of voting rights at VALEO
Asset management firm BlackRock Inc. announced that it crossed the 5% voting rights threshold in VALEO on August 15, 2025. Held on behalf of its clients and funds, this move above the threshold resulted in the acquisition of 14,065,427 shares, representing 5.75% of the capital and 5.11% of the voting rights. This increase resulted from an increase in shares held as collateral.
BlackRock clarified that the share offering also includes ADRs, CFDs, and shares issued under loan-to-borrow agreements. This transaction reflects increased confidence in VALEO's performance. However, certain voting rights remain directly controlled by BlackRock clients.
