UraniumX Reports Anomalous Radioactivity at Murphy Lake
UraniumX Discovery Corp. has announced additional findings from its 2026 diamond drill program at the Murphy Lake Uranium Property. Located in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, the drill holes ML26-017 and ML26-018 have intersected significant radioactivity in a graphitic, sulphide-rich deformation zone, about 300 metres along strike from previous drill sites.
Highlights include a peak handheld spectrometer reading of 460 cps and 350 cps for ML26-017 and ML26-018 respectively. Gamma probe readings confirmed these anomalies. Every completed drill hole revealed structural and radiometric indicators of uranium mineralization, solidifying the presence of an active mineralizing system along the Murphy Lake North Trend.
The drill program now shifts to Target Area 4 to further explore potential high-grade mineralization. Assay results from recent drills are pending, expected in late 2026, which will provide more insights into uranium content.
