UraniumX Initiates $2M Drill Program at Murphy Lake
UraniumX Discovery Corp. has launched a diamond drilling initiative at its Murphy Lake Property in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The program, with a budget of approximately $2 million, is managed by F4 Uranium Corp. and targets five priority areas highlighted by a recent geophysical survey.
The property's 2022 maiden drill program indicated promising results. Notably, drill hole ML22-006 yielded uranium intersections, while significant geological indicators like clay and hematite were identified. The new drill program aims to build on these findings, targeting areas identified by the MLEM survey.
Murphy Lake is strategically situated near notable uranium discoveries, including IsoEnergy's Hurricane Deposit and Cameco's La Rocque Lake Zone. This location strengthens hopes for substantial discoveries akin to neighboring findings. Initial drilling will commence at Target Area 1 in the northern zone.
